The End of an Eraposted 01.07.2014 at 11:26 p.m.This is my 554th entry as wrappedinyou.diaryland.com and it will be my last. My public blog is located at Blogger. I will continue to maintain a private blog (like this used to be) at WordPress. E-mail me at [email protected] and mention your Diaryland handle and I'll be happy to have you follow me over there. I'll send you back the new URL and any login info you would need (or, if you have an account on the site, mention it in your e-mail so I can add you to the approved readers list). I wanted to hold on to Diaryland as long as I could, but it just isn't the community it once was. Most of the people I used to follow on here have either moved to a different site, stopped writing without warning, or locked up without giving contact info. I'd been on Diaryland since 2003 (over a decade!), and I'd been using this screen name since late 2005. It has served me well and I'll miss it, but it's not doing it for me anymore. I hope that any of you who are still with me will stay with me and read my new diary/blog. At any rate, take care internet friends! |
